Publications

Scientific Publications

Proceedings of IMEKO World Congresses, IMEKO TC Conferences, Symposia or Workshops are published by the event organizers. They should also be available for download from our proceedings page soon after the event. Please contact the organizers first.

The best contributions to IMEKO events can be published as enhanced versions of the corresponding papers in MEASUREMENT, the official journal of IMEKO, after the event. The Technical Committees are responsible for selecting such papers. The journal is also open to contributions that have not been presented at an IMEKO event. A special service of the quaterly Top 25 list of most read articles - counted by article downloads on SciVerse ScienceDirect - is offered by ScienceDirect.

MEASUREMENT comes out with 10 issues per year and is published by Elsevier Ltd, Oxford, UK.

Contributions to IMEKO events that could not be selected for publication in MEASUREMENT or MEASUREMENT: SENSORS but have a high scientific quality, can be published in our electronic (online-only) journal ACTA IMEKO. Until now it is not planned to offer a hard-copy service. Papers for publication in ACTA IMEKO are selected by the corresponding Technical Committees in agreement with the editors of MEASUREMENT and MEASUREMENT: SENSORS.
