TC24 is an international platform for collaboration among experts in chemical measurements. Different areas of action include chemical measurements in inorganic, organic, analytical and physical-chemical chemistry, as well as specific fields like forensic science, biomedicine and sensors. Special interests are quality assurance and quality control, proficiency testing, reference materials, and the development and improvement of existing instrumental methods.
The scope of chemical measurements is very broad, and there are a number of interesting objectives to discuss and investigate. Experts from various industrial sectors worldwide are involved in the work of TC24. Cooperation within IMEKO, with other TCs and different world organisations working in these areas, is encouraged and supported.
