Short biography

Alexandru Salceanu received the M.Sc. (Ing.) degree and its PhD (Dr.eng.) degree from the Technical University of Iasi, Romania, in 1980 and 1997, respectively. Since 1990 he has been with the Department of Electrical Measurement, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Technical University of Iasi. Since 2002 he is Full Professor and since 2008, PhD Thesis Supervisor. His main research interests are measurements in EMC and ESD. He is author or co-author of nine books and more than 150 scientific papers. Currently, he is a reviewer of two international journals dealing with measurements and Section Editor for the e-Journal ACTA IMEKO. Presently he delivers the University courses of Electrical Measurements (in English) and Electromagnetic Compatibility.
