IMEKO TC22 "Vibration Measurement" was founded in 2005 with the target of establishing an international non-governmental forum for vibration and shock metrologists. It is supposed to be mainly concerned with the measurement and metrology of the dynamic quantities displacement, velocity, and acceleration, as well as with the corresponding dynamic angular units.
