Newsletter April 2025

The April issue of the newsletter has been published now!

We are in April, and IMEKO is full of events and activities. Nine conferences are announced for 2025, and the very popular "FLOMEKO" by the Technical Committee 9 Flow Measurement will be held in Nara, Japan, in 2026. The yearly General Council Sessions, in August, big thanks to the invitation of the Czech colleagues, are being organised for us in Prague, in the Czech Republic.

In this issue on introductions, meet Ms Emmanueline Irizerwa from Rwanda. Anna Hajduk is our new journal publisher at Elsevier. From the industry, Complete Calibration Services (CCS) from Brisbane, Australia, show us their company. A new feature in the newsletter, "IMEKO Goes to Young Scientists", is planned to be a regular part of the newsletter. We have news about the second Forum on Metrology and Digitalisation that recently took place. As you know, IMEKO is active in the Bureau International des Poids et Mesures, BIPM initiative, of the Joint Statement of Intent on Digital Transformation in the international scientific and quality infrastructure.
