The Role of Simulations in Support of Measurements at High-Frequencies

Christos Christopoulos
  • Abstract:
The complexity of interactions at high-frequencies requires the full range of analytical, numerical and experimental techniques to be employed to get a thorough understanding and quantification of observations. The all too often perceived dichotomy between “theory” and “measurements” is unfortunate and does not help the serious investigator. The paper attempts to show how measurements and numerical simulations in complex systems are complementary approaches and should be used together to enhance understanding.
