The International Measurement Confederation (IMEKO) is a non-governmental federation of 38 Member Organisations concerned with the advancement of measurement science and technology. Its fundamental objectives are related to the promotion of international exchange of scientific and technical information in the field of measurement and instrumentation, and to the enhancement of international cooperation among scientists and engineers from academe and industry.
