Vibration Measurement
IMEKO TC22 “Vibration Measurement” was founded in 2005 with the target to establish an international non-governmental forum for vibration and shock metrologists. It is supposed to be mainly concerned with the measurement and metrology of the dynamic quantities displacement, velocity and acceleration as well as with the corresponding dynamic angular units. The first meeting of the TC22 took place during the XVIIIth IMEKO World Congress in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, between 17 and 22 September, 2006. 1200 participants from 59 countries of the five continents participated in this IMEKO event. 537 contributions were presented under the headline METROLOGY FOR A SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT.
