Temperature and Thermal Measurements
TC12 provides a forum for an international exchange of opinions among experts in the field of temperature and thermal measurements, discussing the main trends of research, development and application. Attention is not only paid to sensors and to new measurement methods, but also to the instrumentation for temperature and thermal measurements. Emphasis is given to accurate measurements and to the improvement of efficiency in industrial applications. |

The Call for Papers of the Joint Symposium TEMPMEKO-ISHM has been issued. The online abstract submission is now closed. Late abstract submission may be possible via direct contact with the Organizers. About 380 contributions were received by early December 2009 and are currently under review. The Symposium will be held in Slovenia from May 31 to June 4, 2010. Full details are available at www.tempmeko-ishm.org and in the TC12 Newsletter of December 2009, freely downloadable from another section of this website. |

TEMPMEKO 2007 was held on May 21-25, 2007 in Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. There were 205 registered participants from 34 countries who delivered 138 oral and 107 poster presentations. Full details about the event are available in the June 2007 Newsletter. Manuscripts were refereed and those accepted were published in five Special Issues of the International Journal of Thermophysics in 2007-8. |
